Things you don’t have to do in end of tenancy cleaningAs a tenant you must have been gone through a long-lasting instructive procedure about all the duties you have and all the things you must do. This permanent dependence by your landlord’s desires and will is tiring and really annoying sometimes.

The worst part is that this continues till the end of your tenancy life. Even in the end, one big end of tenancy cleaning is also expecting you to kill your nerves for last.

You must have already read about all of the requirements and demands, which are included in the removal sanitising clause from the lease contract. You must have been already informed about the additional household chores from your landlord! Though, it is high time for you to learn the things you don’t have to do in end of tenancy cleaning:

  • You are not obliged to hire professional company or to book an end of tenancy sanitising service by all means. This is not a mandatory duty, but just your own choice to save time and to get a guarantee for the inventory check.

  • You don’t have to clean what was dirty before you moved in. There might be stains or too old items in the tenement, which are already impossible to be refreshed or sanitised. The first visitations and views are very essential about this, when you look for a tenement.

  • You don’t have to pay for broken things, which come with a guarantee or insurance – electronic gadgets, parts of home interior and etc.

  • You don’t have to do additional home improvements – this is a job of your landlord in case he wants to increase the price of his property.

  • You don’t have to wipe the windows from the outside. This is too much and too dangerous.

  • You don’t have to paint or make some repairs. Speak to your landlord whether you have to fix things you have broken or just to pay for the damages.
